Supporting Open Farm Sunday 2026: Connecting Communities with British Farming

Open Farm Sunday is the farming industry's flagship public engagement event, welcoming thousands of visitors onto working farms across the country each year. Celebrating its 20th anniversary on the 7th of June 2026, the initiative continues to play a vital role in strengthening the connections between farmers and the public, offering a unique opportunity to learn more about modern agriculture, food production and the countryside.

While Open Farm is a national campaign led by LEAF and supported by organisations across the industry, including the NFU, its success depends on effective local delivery. For participating farms, opening their gates involves far more than simply welcoming visitors; it requires careful planning, clear communication, robust safety measures and engaging educational experiences that leave a lasting impression.

To support this nationwide initiative, Brand iQ partnered with the NFU to produce and deliver a range of campaign materials to farms taking part in Open Farm Sunday. These resources were designed to educate, engage, and inspire visitors of all ages, helping farms create meaningful interactions throughout the day.

Materials produced:

  • Countryside Magazine - June 2026 Edition

  • Let's Talk Farming Booklets (Ages 4-7)

  • Let's Talk Farming Booklets (Ages 8-11)

  • Back British Farming Stickers

  • Back British Farming Red Pencils

Open Farm Resources

To support nationwide distribution, participating farms could order Open Farm Sunday resources directly through dedicated NFU platforms, managed and fulfilled by Brand iQ. This streamlined process enabled farms across the UK to access high-quality materials quickly and easily, ensuring a consistent visitor experience and reinforcing key campaign messages.

We are proud to support initiatives such as Open Farm Sunday, which not only educates the public about British farming but also helps build stronger connections between communities, the food they eat, and the people who produce it. By delivering practical, engaging resources at scale, Brand iQ played an important role in helping farms create memorable experiences for visitors during this landmark 20th anniversary year.
