How Brand iQ keeps membership organisations consistent

One brand, many members: How Brand iQ keeps membership organisations consistent
Membership organisations have a particular branding challenge. Your brand appears on branch merchandise, at local events, on printed guides and on volunteer clothing, and it’s handled by lots of different people, each with their own idea of what “on brand” looks like.
Brand iQ was built to solve that. We’re not just a platform, we’re a partner who helps you protect your brand and engage the people who carry it.
Your own dedicated brand platform
We build a dedicated platform for your organisation, housing your physical stock, merchandise and digital assets in one place. Teams, branches and volunteers can find, download and order what they need, knowing it’s approved and on brand.
Local freedom, central control
Organisation groups and individual user groups decide who can view and interact with which assets. Customisable templates can be localised by branches or regions, but only within the parameters you set. For sensitive assets, dedicated approvals sit in front of any download or order. We can also build bespoke pages with interactive features, shaped around how your organisation works.
Insight into what’s really happening
The insights dashboard shows how assets are used and how often orders are placed, by organisation or by order, so you can see what’s working and where demand is coming from.
One team behind the whole supply chain
We handle merchandise sourcing, production and fulfilment, and we also deliver bespoke orders such as large format signage, plus installation and de-rig of event set-ups. One accountable partner means faster delivery, tighter quality control and fewer moving parts.
Sustainability you can evidence
Through our partnership with Ecologi, our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions are measured, and we reduce first and remove second. We’re also FSC® certified and have held ISO 14001 for more than 10 years, so you get a supply chain partner with a credible, verified environmental story.
In practice: Scouts
Scouts is the largest mixed youth movement in the UK, with thousands of volunteer-led local groups sharing one highly recognisable brand. Run much like a franchise, it needed to keep that brand consistent while giving each group the freedom to respond to its own community. Without central support, volunteers risked using outdated or off-brand materials.
Since 2018, Brand iQ has given every UK Scout Group access to official brand assets, editable localised templates, print-on-demand and fulfilment, all in one place and supported by a dedicated Account Manager. The results speak for themselves:
51,307 registered users, with 11,658 Scout Groups actively using the platform
205,608 orders since April 2018, including 21,662 in the past year
539 editable and print-on-demand templates and 1,645 digital assets
Volunteers can now put together a recruitment campaign or print certificates to recognise achievements quickly and independently, without relying on head office or specialist marketing skills. Meanwhile, headquarters gains clear insight into how assets are used, to guide future campaigns and investment.
