A fully integrated brand management partnership designed to deliver consistency, control and scalability across every NFU brand touchpoint.
Overview
In October 2024, we were appointed by the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) to deliver a four-year, fully managed brand service covering all clothing, promotional merchandise, print, and event assets. The brief was simple:
Create a unified, reliable and scalable brand management solution that strengthens consistency, simplifies purchasing, and protects the NFU brand across every touchpoint.
Challenge
With a diverse membership base and frequent campaign activity, NFU required a solution that could maintain brand consistency across thousands of items, provide transparency over spend, stock and approvals, respond quickly to time-sensitive campaigns, and support both central teams and end users nationwide—delivering at scale without compromising quality. This required a single partner capable of bringing together technology, supply chain and brand expertise under one roof.
Our Brand Management Solution
We implemented a fully integrated brand ecosystem, combining procurement, design, fulfilment, and event support into a single programme.
Brand iQ Platform
At the heart of the solution is Brand iQ, our proprietary online management platform, which provides centralized ordering across all branded items, streamlined approval workflows, and robust budget controls. It offers live reporting and analytics, along with consolidated governance to safeguard brand integrity, ensuring that every user accesses approved, compliant materials—eliminating risk and driving consistency across the organization.
Branded Clothing & Merchandise
We created a curated product suite aligned with NFU’s refreshed brand identity, tailored to both office and agricultural environments. This includes merchandise sourcing and testing to ensure practicality, durability, and value, clothing development suited to demanding farming conditions, and on-brand artwork creation to guarantee visual consistency. Iterative improvements based on user feedback ensure that the products remain relevant, effective, and fully aligned with user needs.
Print & Production
All print requirements are managed in-house, covering litho, digital, and large-format production, which delivers faster turnaround times, reduced costs, and improved control over print quality and brand consistency.
Event Management
NFU’s extensive events programme required a more efficient, scalable model, so we developed an Event Kit tool within Brand iQ that enables users to configure event assets online. Our team then produces and manages materials, delivers items to the site, and provides on-site installation and de-rig, ensuring brand consistency and a professional presentation at every event—without placing an operational burden on internal teams.
What Makes This Solution Unique
Unlike many providers, we manage all core services internally, including the Brand iQ technology platform, print production, merchandise sourcing and branding, warehousing and fulfilment, and nationwide distribution.
This single-partner model provides NFU with significant benefits, including brand protection and quality assurance, faster delivery of campaigns and urgent orders, lower costs through reduced outsourcing, simplified management with one accountable supplier, and reduced risk across the supply chain.
Results
Campaign Delivery at Scale
In January 2025, NFU launched its flagship “Stop the Family Farm Tax” campaign. Within six weeks, we designed and produced all campaign assets, delivered branded clothing, promotional items, and printed collateral, fulfilled more than 1,000 individual orders. All materials were delivered on time and fully brand-compliant, reinforcing NFU’s national campaign effort.
Forward Focus
We continue to work collaboratively with NFU to evolve the programme, including expanding product collections based on member insight, providing ongoing updates to ensure brand compliance, and launching a new “always-on” eCommerce platform that enables NFU to sell branded goods directly to consumers while enhancing member engagement.
Outcomes
The programme delivers a single, centralised system for brand-approved merchandise and clothing, stronger governance over brand usage, budget, and stock, and a scalable solution that supports major national campaigns. It provides durable, practical clothing designed for real-world use, fully integrated event support from selection to on-site installation, and enhanced speed, cost efficiency, and risk reduction through in-house production.
Summary
This partnership demonstrates how a truly integrated brand management service can transform a complex supply chain into a unified, controlled and scalable operation. By aligning technology, sourcing, production and execution, we help NFU protect its brand, engage its membership, and deliver campaigns with confidence—every time.
